Today's topic we are going to veer off from the computers a little. You will be split into groups of 3-4. Your first task is to is to describe what "good" teaching, successful student and unsuccessful student would look, feel and sound like. Than you will have to present in front of the class. Next your group will have to distinguish between a dependent and independent student. Again, you will have to present to the class. Last you will be paired in groups to put together a presentation on how to add and subtract fractions with like and unlike denominators.
Presentations can be given in any form you choose, art, music, audio, techno or other formats you would like to choose. Each presentation should be about 3-5 minutes.
Below are YouTube videos for fractions. Also use your computers to find your own media source. Take charge of your own knowledge!! You are all smart students, good luck:)
By Tuesday, I want 2-3 sentences posted in the "discussion" tab under today's date. Reminder that in your discussion put your name in the subject header. Please post what you got out of today's lesson, you may comment on one part of today or all three.
